Sweta Penemetsa

Sweta has over 15 years of experience working with financial institutions, sponsors, specialty-finance lenders and corporate clients in both developed and emerging markets. At European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Sweta has led equity, debt, and hybrid transactions focused on the FI sector. Her broader mandate is to expand the firm’s private debt portfolio in the non-bank financial institutions segment across CEE, MENA and Central Asia. Prior to EBRD, she held various positions spanning FIG M&A, equity capital markets, investor relations and corporate advisory. Sweta holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
