Job Purpose
To manage treasury operations towards determining the optimal cash position for Ollin and ensure the availability of funds to fulfill and achieve business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain banking relationships and identify opportunities to better utilize the company’s bank services.
- Manage day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization.
- Assist in securing needed bank facilities (Working Capital, MTL & Structured Finance).
- Handle bank facilities CPs and bank requirements.
- Review interest, commissions, and bank charges consistently.
- Monitoring the cash management process and determining accuracy of cash reporting.
- Maintain cash flow by managing cash forecasting models and monitoring bank balances and cash requirements.
- Manage and accurately complete periodic bank renewals.
- Ensure compliance with bank credit agreement(s)
- Manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk management programs.
- Manage Intercompany transactions and borrowing processes, reporting, and documentation.
- Recommend and support the execution of financing and working capital improvement plans.
- Ensure security of financial transactions, defining policies, procedures and controls and validating corporate documents that grant power to the approvers.
- Regularly review treasury policies & procedures, ensuring that they are implemented through tight operational practices and systems of work.
- Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and reconciliation of all financial information processed within the Treasury team, ensuring the integrity of financial data and monitoring the reconciliation of bank and loan accounts.
- Excellent analytical and digital skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline – preferably, Finance or Economics
- At least 10 years of experience in Cash Management and/or Treasury in Financial Institutions
- Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments.
- Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
- Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties.
- Excellent command of English (both verbal and written).
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.
